About the role
A professional services business with offices in Newcastle upon Tyne are looking to add an underwriting assistant in-to their operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an excellent underwriting service to policy holders and brokers.
This opportunity is offered working 35 hours per week with flexible and hybrid working available. We are keen to spe3ak with candidates who have experience of working within an office environment.
About the role:
Adhering with company guidelines and procedures
Dealing with amendments to insurance policies and manage cancellations of cover.
Manage cancellations of cover
Renewals for existing customers
Administration, document production; and data entry and maintenance of CRM system.
About you:
Previous administrative experience in an office environment
Good working knowledge of MS Office packages
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Excellent attention to detail
Preferable experience of working within the insurance sector
