Support Officer

About the role

A widely recognised Financial Services company that operates worldwide is looking to recruit Support Officers to work within their Customer Services team. This role is offered on a temporary basis until the end of December, working 35 hours a week. Their modern and comfortable office is located on the outskirts of Newcastle.

As a Support Officer, you will be curious, eager and passionate about providing great service to customers.

Duties will include:

  • General mortgage processing and admin duties

  • Adhering to policies and procedures

  • Speak with customers and brokers on the phone for mortgage updates

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues

  • Represent the brand and products in a positive manner

Skills:

  • Attention to detail while working within a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • PC literate with good admin skills

  • Previous experience of communication with customers via phone and email

  • Strong service delivery ethic, including the ability to work under pressure with tight timescales for deadlines.
