Project Manager

About the role

What we are looking for

Working with our client in the health and fitness sector, we are helping them find a committed, organised project manager to oversee and manage significant projects from start to finish. The ideal applicant will have a track record of meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations while completing projects on schedule and under budget. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of IT solutions that support our business objectives, you will engage closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Project planning and execution

  • Developing and maintaining project plans/timelines/budgets

  • Defining project scope and objectives

  • Coordinating and leading project teams

  • Ensuring adherence to project management methodologies

  • Stakeholder management

  • Working closely with suppliers to deliver concurrent projects

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Risk Management

  • Be proactive in addressing issues that can impact project timelines and outcomes

  • Identify these risks and develop strategies

  • Resource management

  • Allocate and manage project resources effectively

  • Monitor and track budgets and expenditures

  • Quality Assurance

  • Establish quality control standards

  • Conduct project reviews regularly

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven experience as a project manager, with a track record of delivering complex projects

  • Project management qualification eg. Prince2, PMP etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Project Management or related field

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing project needs

  • Strong problem solving skills
