Lead Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow an in-house data team handling project delivery and platform maintenance.

  • Optimize team processes and ensure collaboration between technical and functional teams.

  • Contribute to technical solution design and the strategic data roadmap.

  • Maintain an Agile development environment (CI/CD) and oversee integrations with 3rd parties.

  • Evaluate data platform capabilities, recommend improvements, and prioritise tasks aligned with business goals.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing and developing data teams.

  • Expertise with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCS, or Azure).

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture concepts (Data Lakes, Warehousing, Marts).

  • Proficiency in modern data integration patterns (CDC, APIs, ETL/ELT).

  • Experience designing data models and managing the development lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 architecture and strong SQL Server skills.
