About the role

Are you an experienced HR Advisor available for your next temporary opportunity?

Due to sickness, our client has an urgent need for an HR professional to join their busy HR team in Sunderland. This is an initial 6 week assignment, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Key Details:

• Hourly rate: £19.23

• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Working pattern: Monday–Thursday (full days), early finish at 12:30pm on Fridays

• Location: On-site in Sunderland

• Start date: ASAP

The main focus of the role will be:

• Managing high volumes of absence cases

• Supporting with basic employee relations (ER) issues

• Providing generalist HR support across the business

• Collaborating closely with line managers and stakeholders

• Maintaining accurate records and casework

About you:

• Strong experience in absence management

• Confident supporting managers in a fast paced environment

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Resilient, adaptable, and solution focused

• Experience with Workday is highly desirable

• A reliable and proactive team player
