Location: Middlesbrough (Hybrid Working Available)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our client in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic HR function with the flexibility of hybrid working, combining office presence with home-based working.

About the Role

As a generalist HR Advisor, you will support a broad range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with managers and employees, you will provide expert advice, ensuring HR policies are applied effectively and consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees

  • Support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes

  • Contribute to HR policy development and implementation

  • Support learning and development initiatives

  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in a generalist HR role, ideally CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above desirable)

  • Confident in handling a variety of HR issues with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach

  • Organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Able to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business
