HR Advisor

About the role

We are currently looking for a Human Resource Officer to join our client based in Cramlington, this is a fixed term role for 6 months initially.

Duties

  • Assisting in the recruitment of staff and full employee lifecycle

  • Managing employee induction programmes and deliver sections of the induction programme as required.

  • Ensuring that company policies and procedures are applied accurately and providing guidance and advice.

  • Managing sickness/absence levels through the maintenance and reporting.

  • Supporting and guiding line managers in absence management practices, utilising the disciplinary procedures as appropriate.

  • Managing and maintaining the T&A system and the HR system.

  • To ensure accurate HR administration and record systems are maintained in order to provide a reference basis for decision making on employee development, remuneration and manpower planning.

  • Annual pay reviews, and disciplinary hearings.

  • Involvement in strategic HR projects.

  • Participation in health and wellbeing campaigns.

What they are looking for:

  • Generalist HR experience within a fast paced environment.

  • High accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels and be persuasive and diplomatic yet firm.

  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures including employment legislation.

  • CIPD qualified.
