Customer Service Team Leader

About the role

A leading pharmaceutical company are looking to recruit a talented Customer Service Team Leader to lead their technical service team. Your team will be the customer-first point of contact, ensuring you deliver an efficient and knowledgeable service that will increase customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Leading a small team of 4, we are looking for someone who can carry out their normal Team Leader responsibilities as well as speak with customers when required.

In return, you will receive an attractive salary of up to £28,000 DOE.

Great working hours, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.

The role:

  • Leading a small team of Customer Service Advisors to ensure they deliver a high level of customer service.

  • Be responsible for your team’s customer interactions and performance

  • Working with senior leaders to deliver operational improvements, reviewing processes to enhance customer experience

  • Daily management of your team and conducting team meetings

  • Developing staff through monthly 121's and ongoing training and coaching

  • Taking calls from customers, dealing with queries, orders and providing advice

  • Effectively handling customer complaints, helping the business to identify the root cause and help drive improvements.

  • Keeping up to date with regulatory and legislative compliance

About you:

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused Team Leader role, ideally within a highly regulated industry or technical environment

  • Passionate about people development and customer experience

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels

  • Good competence level in Microsoft Packages
