Credit Hire Paralegal

About the role

Our client is recognised by the legal 500 and is ranked in the 2023 UK Edition for Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. They are looking to recruit a Paralegal to work within the Credit Hire team.

This role is offered on a permanent basis, working 9-5, Monday to Friday in their Newcastle office, with hybrid working available.

This role would suit someone who is a Law graduate or has previous experience of working within a Credit Hire team.

About the role:

  • Support solicitors and fee earners in handling and preparing cases.

  • Perform admin and clerical tasks as required, as well as perform legal research.

  • Undertake initial reviews of records to help conduct investigations into potential cases.

  • Preliminary analysis, research, and investigation of cases.

  • Prepare and review title packs.

  • Liaise with clients, other solicitors and third parties.

About you:

  • Law Graduate or previous experience within Credit Hire

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and good at dealing with electronic case management and filing systems.

  • Good time management skills, and happy to work to strict timelines, and able to work to deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of how important discretion is when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Value good client care and maintaining client relationships.
