Clinical Negligence Admin

About the role

Our client is recognised by the legal 500 and is ranked in the 2023 UK Edition for Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. They are looking to recruit an administrator to work within the Clinical Negligence team.

This role is offered on a permanent basis, working 9-5, Monday to Friday in the Newcastle office, with hybrid working available.

This role would suit someone who has previous experience of working within a clinical negligence department, who would like to stay in a support role.

About the role:

  • Support solicitors and fee earners in handling and progressing cases.

  • Perform admin and clerical tasks as required.

  • Preliminary analysis, research, and investigation of cases.

About you:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and good at dealing with electronic case management and filing systems

  • Good time management skills and happy to work to strict time lines, and able to work to deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of how important discretion is when dealing with sensitive and confidential matters

  • Value good client care, and maintaining client relationships.
