About the role

We are looking for 2 Process Maintenance Technicians to join a Managed Services Technical team with our international manufacturing client based in Woking.

As a Maintenance Technician you will repair, improve and maintain all the production equipment and perform reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment. The role requires a high technical skill level alongside a proactive approach to resolving issues and implementing countermeasures.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

· A time served recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical background discipline.

· High level of diagnostic and fault-finding experience on plc-controlled equipment.

· Demonstrable experience in system improvement.

· Good mechanical system knowledge (pumps, vacuum, pneumatics, hydraulics).

· Effective fault finding on critical production equipment.

· Experience of fault finding and maintenance activity on PC, PLC, and electromechanically controlled production equipment.

· Knowledge of automated control systems and manufacturing and process equipment is required.

· A flexible approach to working hours including evenings and weekends. The role will involve working a rotating shift pattern covering early / day / late and weekends.

· Work well as part of a team as well as using own initiative.
