About the role
AFC Maintainer
Our client is looking for an AFC Maintainer to support the performance and reliability of equipment across a multi-site environment. You’ll play a key role in keeping critical systems operating reliably, working hands-on in the field to diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment. This role suits someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
The Role
You’ll spend most of your time out in the field, making sure essential equipment stays up and running. Every day is different, with a mix of fault-finding, maintenance, and customer interaction.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of electrical and electronic systems.
Work as a field-based AFC Maintainer across multiple customer sites.
Respond to faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and complete repairs efficiently.
Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Accurately complete reports and documentation.
Support system upgrades and improvement projects
About You
Ideally previous experience in a similar role and completed a recognised apprenticeship.
Electrical/electronic qualification (BTC, ONC, or equivalent).
Comfortable working with electrical and electronic systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to fault-finding.
Able to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Full driving licence.

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 on a day-shift rota, covering operating hours between 06:30 and 21:30, seven days a week.
