L&D Partner

About the role

We are currently working with one of the country’s leading housing providers looking for a Learning and Development Partner to join the organisation.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Northumberland. Local travel within the region is required so a full driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.

The opportunity:

As the Learning and Development Partner, you will be at the forefront of the organisations efforts to empower their workforce with the knowledge and skills needed for excellence. The successful candidate will design, create, and deliver exceptional training experiences using a range of proven L&D tools and techniques. The initial focus of this role is to support the seamless integration of a cutting-edge Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system called Salesforce, while also developing customer excellence and behavioural skills. Collaborating closely with our Head of People Development, you'll identify skills gaps, training needs, and design innovative solutions that align with our values, elevate managerial capabilities, drive talent growth, and foster a customer-centric, performance-oriented culture.

You will:

  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Project team to create effective training materials.

  • Deliver in-person IT training sessions to enhance Salesforce proficiency across the organization.

  • Provide comprehensive Salesforce training to address the diverse needs of users throughout the project phases.

  • Garner support for the new system and promote consistent, efficient utilization of Salesforce.

  • Offer additional IT training, including Microsoft Office packages, as required.

  • Develop internal e-learning resources and encourage optimal use of the Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Design and deliver customized blended learning solutions for specific business needs, such as presentation skills, time management, and resilience training.

  • Lead management and leadership training sessions, covering topics like leading people, situational leadership, and performance management and development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior trainer with a track record as a successful learning and development practitioner with experience in designing and delivering diverse training solutions, including leadership and management levels.

How we will reward you:

  • Salary circa £45,000 (negotiable)

  • 28 days annual leave

  • Company pension

If you are highly motivated, passionate about people and ready to make a positive difference for the organisations customers then please click the ‘apply now’ button and a member of the team will be in touch.
