About the role
We are looking for a Solicitor to join an award–winning law firm based in Newcastle.
This is a permanent role within the Corporate Conveyancing Team to supervise all required legal duties relating to the repossession, sale and re-mortgage of corporate properties.
The opportunity
Reporting to Partner in Charge, you will be providing an end-to-end conveyancing service for corporate clients.
You will be responsible for the examination of title for properties and the preparation of reports on title of clients, coordination and management of client specific requests and projects.
You will manage specific caseloads as a Solicitor dealing with the conveyancing aspects of cases instructed as non-standards – e.g. lease extensions, sale by LPA receivers and staircasing.
You will ensure LSPG Policies and Procedures are always adhered to.
It is essential if applying that you are a Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE
You will have:
Previous Private and Corporate Conveyancing experience
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
Experience of working within a conveyancing environment and providing advice and recommendations to clients on corrective conveyancing processes
Knowledge of private client and corporate client conveyancing general procedures – legal reports , title review and undertakings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to work on own initiative
