About the role

We have a vacancy with a leading organisation in the UK who are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and determined Cyber Security Engineer. The business are going through the necessary measures to ensure that their networks are secure and as such need this engineer who has that passion for designing, implementing and maintaing top level security solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and manage advanced security solutions across our digital estate, including SOC, M365, Conditional Access, and Information Security.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security roadmap that ensures scalability, reliability, and robust protection for our cloud infrastructure.

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, evaluating and integrating the latest innovations.

• Work collaboratively across the IT Team to ensure smooth service deployment, seamless issue resolution, and reliable system availability.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and consultants for effective solution delivery.

• Lead efforts to secure the network and systems, tracking and optimising security measures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise in network, server, and storage technologies.

• Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with advanced security tools.

• Practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions.

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
