The opportunity

As a Senior GRC Specialist you will work on integrating business-critical programmes and frameworks into the day-to-day for the company and work collaboratively with internal and external teams. Using forward-thinking strategies, you will employ an adaptable approach to improving practice and driving the business forward.

About you

• Be based in Newcastle and be happy with a hybrid/highly flexible work arrangement with 8 days a month in office working (ideally).

• Have a relevant degree.

• Have experience with integrations of GRC programs and frameworks into businesses.

• Have knowledge of GDPR and its implications for businesses.

• Develop, maintain, and implement the business IT governance, risk & compliance programmes and processes within the IT organisation.

• Identify, evaluate and report the risks and controls of the IT organisation, conduct risk assessments and document results according to the group risk framework.

• Driving improvements of GRC accountability and efficiency across teams.

• Technical leadership for training, and coaching/mentoring for all GRC team members.

• Monitor, measure the IT processes against internal policies and procedures.
