Fire Engineering Contracts Manager

About the role

We’re working with a leading specialist contractor within the fire engineering space, who are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to support their continued growth across the North East.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business that operates both as a standalone sub-contractor and as part of wider construction projects. With the full backing of an experienced Health & Safety and QEMS team, they deliver installations to the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll take ownership of multiple projects from order receipt through to completion.

The Role

  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

  • Overseeing site performance and contractual compliance

  • Setting up projects in line with the company’s Quality, Environmental and Management System (QEMS)

What They’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, labour planning, and commercial reporting

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • A valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification

  • A full UK driving licence
