About the role

We are supporting our client in hiring a Financial Accountant to join their Group Consolidation Team. This role will help manage monthly and annual consolidations and support international finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support group consolidations and issue consolidation timetables

• Coordinate data uploads and assist subsidiaries with queries and training

• Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments (IFRS 3, 5, 16)

• Maintain consolidation scope, investment registers, and capital structure entries

• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors

• Complete consolidation journals, balance sheet reviews, and ad-hoc finance tasks

• Provide occasional cover for the Consolidation Finance Manager

Skills & Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with consolidation experience

• Strong IFRS knowledge and stakeholder management skills

• Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines

• Experience with pension accounting is beneficial

• Proficient in Office 365
