About the role

We’re excited to share that we’re looking for an experienced, passionate and innovate Chair of Trustees, to provide inclusive and collaborative leadership to Everyturn and our board.

As our Chair of Trustees, you’ll be working with the board to hold the executive management team accountable for the charity’s purpose and mission. You’ll provide inclusive leadership to the board of trustees, ensuring that each trustee fulfils their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the charity.

You will:

• Provide leadership to the charity and its board, ensuring that the charity has maximum impact for its beneficiaries

• Ensure that the board operates within its charitable objectives, and provides a clear strategic direction for the charity

• Promote open debate and collegiate decision-making, giving enough time to discuss complex issues

You’ll have:

• A strong and visible passion and commitment to the charity, its strategic objectives, and wider cause

• Experience of operating at a senior strategic leadership level within an organisation

• Ability to foster and promote a collaborative team environment

• Broad knowledge and understanding of the charity sector and current issues affecting it
