Gary Nation is Galago Group’s Business Development Director, leading NRG’s Insurance Recruitment division from the firm’s London office and supporting insurance clients nationwide.

With more than 25 years’ experience in recruitment, Gary brings deep sector expertise and commercial insight. He has founded and successfully grown his own recruitment business and previously led the Insurance division for the world’s largest recruitment firm. His career began within the insurance industry at Direct Line, giving him first‑hand industry knowledge and a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing insurers and intermediaries today. He has worked with leading UK insurance brokerages on a retained, mapping, and contingency basis, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Gary works closely with CEOs and senior leadership teams to design, launch, and scale new divisions within UK brokerages.

Outside of work, Gary is a passionate football fan and lifelong Liverpool supporter. He is also a proud father of two teenage daughters and is based in Sussex.
