NRG are recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst to join one of the fastest-growing insurance companies that you have probably never heard of. As a part of the Claims Data Analyst team, you’ll be key in supporting the delivery of the claims strategy, by helping to redesign and automate end-to-end processes.

This role offers a salary up to £43,000 as well as a range of benefits including bonus scheme based upon business and personal performance, healthcare, life assurance and flexible & hybrid working.

You will be a dynamic, driven professional who is keen to help evolve the business in new directions. You will play an important role in driving the next phase of growth, through clear communication of data to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • MI and data insight that enables the Business to make effective operational and strategic decisions.
  • Understand and utilise various data sets to create reports for stakeholders with different technical understanding.
  • Work collaboratively within the claims MI team to build and support process automation and address issues with SQL, Excel and Power BI.
  • Supporting the development of analytical reports including iterating improvements in data models and processes to ensure robustness and scalability.
  • Documenting data processes and dictionaries to improve visibility and understanding of our data.
  • Analytical skill set with an ability to understand data requirements and support the development of data solutions.
  • Work with Claims Analytics to build business rules and automation processes. Then monitor these and address issues as required.
  • Skills:

  • SQL skills including the ability to write and read highly performant code.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental principles of data warehousing and relational databases.
  • Data presentation using tools such as Excel, Excel and Power BI.
  • Pragmatic, strategic thinker who is able to prioritise and plan automation opportunities across claims.
  • Creation, development, maintenance and management of effective MI.
  • Experience with machine learning is a benefit.
