We have a fantastic opportunity to join the People Services division of our NHS client as a People and OD Lead.
Reporting into the Head of People Services and working closely with the Deputy Director of People and OD, you will be a core member of the newly created People Services team.
You will lead a team consisting of a Deputy POD Lead and POD advisor support, working in partnership with the operational management teams and leaders.
Your role is to provide strategic and operational advice and highly developed specialist knowledge on all people and OD related matters.
This will be in line with the needs and priorities of the Business Units and Corporate Directorates to which they are partnering. The NHS People Plan is the background to their strategic approach, covering the remit of the whole POD portfolio.
In summary the post holder will:
Be forward-thinking, operationally minded and be informed by data to ensure the achievement of their service business plans.
Take shared accountability alongside operational management teams within their designated Business Units and Corporate Directorates for the whole people and OD agenda.
Lead on people and OD initiatives across the whole Trust from the initial concept through engagement and to implementation, continual development and review and assurance.
Act as an internal consultant for the Business Units and/or Corporate Directorates.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the People and OD team and embrace a one team ethos, continually supporting team development and challenging the status quo to ensure a consistent, value-adding People and OD provision to leaders and colleagues.
