The company are growing fast and looking for passionate and committed people to join their team as they open their new Centre of Excellence in Newcastle.


40 hours per week: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

 

Working closely with the Procurement Manager, the Fleet Supervisor will ensure that the company’s transport operations are safe, efficient and profitable. This involves leasing the appropriate vehicles, scheduling regular vehicle maintenance, and managing all related services and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of fleet management.

  • Analysis, reporting, budgeting, supervising and support in negotiating.

  • Organising the appropriate insurance for drivers and vehicles.

  • Assisting with the drafting and implementation of effective policies and processes.

  • Managing strict vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules.

  • Monitoring driver behaviour and recommending disciplinary action where necessary.

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services.

  • Monitoring fleet costs and ensuring that they remain within budget.


To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fleet environment, possess advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, and hold strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication, presentation and listening capabilities.
