Are you an experienced Conveyancer looking for a new opportunity?


We’re looking for a Conveyancer with Intermediate level of experience to join a busy Residential Conveyancing team in Team Valley, Gateshead.


You will deal with Conveyancing files, including telephone and email assistance to clients, in order to maintain the quality and efficiency of the legal services offered to the company’s clients.


This is an office-based role with a Monday to Friday schedule.





  • To be responsible for running a small caseload of freehold and leasehold conveyancing transactions (circa 40-60 files), whilst being mentored and trained by the technical team and team leader / team members where appropriate.

  • To check mortgage offers and contract documentation.

  • To understand and report on search results and title matters.

  • To deal with completion tasks such as procuring and checking pre-completion searches and producing completion statements.

  • To chase clients for payment, obtain and check client verification, deal with starter pack issues, obtain redemption statements and produce completion indents.

  • To be responsible for capturing information / data and uploading this on to the firm’s case management systems.

  • To run conveyancing procedures on the firm’s case management system.

  • To ensure that completed files are handed over to the post completion team in a timely manner for registration.
