We’re working with a global law firm who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their EMEA IT Project Team. You will be managing several exciting, high-profile projects and implementing a range of business and application initiatives.
This is a hybrid role and flexible working is available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your project management skills to organise, monitor and direct projects from their inception to the end.
Manage the delivery of large and complex projects to deliver IT-enabled business solutions, following the clients’ Framework
Direct the resources assigned to the Project Team
Plan, monitor and control the project with regards to time, cost, resources, and the quality of the end products
Agree roles and responsibilities for the project including the formation of an appropriate project governance structure
Prepare the project, the stage and if necessary exception plans in conjunction with the Project Team and agree them with the project sponsor and the Programme Management Office (PMO)
Follow the change control process for managing changes to time, cost and scope
Manage business and project risks, including the development of contingency plans
Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources, and initiate corrective action where necessary
Preparation of RFI’s/RFP’s
Vendor engagement & coordination
Key skills and experience
Experience running large and complex projects to deliver IT-enabled business change and systems, in similar organisation(s) within professional services
Project management experience in one or more of the additional areas below would be beneficial:
PC build / upgrade / deployment
EUC (End-user computing solutions)
Office relocations and setup
Prince 2 Practitioner
Strong change management credentials
