We’re working with a global law firm who are looking for a Platform Manager to assist in the operation of their market leading platform (EMEA).
The ideal candidate would be a very experienced team leader with an excellent understanding of maintaining similar platforms as EMEA and be able to run it efficiently and futureproof its operation.
This role has an excellent salary and central office location in Newcastle.
Leading and managing a multiskilled team
Designing and implementing futureproofed platform strategy

Management of critical vendor relationships
Microsoft Exchange (on premise/exchange online)
Skype for Business
Zoom (at a corporate level)
Contact centre voice services
Corporate Audio/visual services
Active directory/Azure AD/Azure SSO/Azure MFA
Microsoft SharePoint & Microsoft SQL
Considerable experience managing teams at different levels
Delivery and adoption of strategy
Proven experience of team supervision & workload prioritisation
Bonus skills/ experience:
Experience in the legal sector
Experience of IT finance
Providing management reports to senior management
Interaction with business partners and service providers
Ability to understand technical solutions and deliver suitable solutions to desired standards
The role will involve assisting in the 24/7 service of the platform and dealing with occasional out of hours escalations.
