Our client who are hugely recognised in the North East have an exciting opportunity for a
Global Support Advisor to join the business.
This is a dynamic and exciting new role, dealing with member enquires regarding international trade support.
The successful candidate will work across departments, with colleagues and associates, to provide a first-class service, reinforcing the company’s position as the go-to organisation for international trade support.
This role is a combination of home & office working alongside a flexible 35-hour week.
The primary focus of the role is to manage the Global Services Desk, dealing with enquiries efficiently, coordinating responses, providing analysis of activity, and working with colleagues to further develop the advisory offering. You will also generate leads for Global Membership.
They are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, particularly a positive, approachable, and friendly manner. You will be approachable with the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the International Trade team, wider business, and external partners. You will also possess the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload and to work collaboratively to achieve goals.
Ideally you will hold a university degree in Business Administration, Law, International Trade or any other subjects closely related. In absence of a degree, a good standard of general education e.g. 5 GCSE (or equivalent) including Maths and English and some international trade experience is welcome.
