We are looking to speak with passionate, out going individuals who have excellent client facing skills who are able to confidently recommend and design data analytic solutions in a pre-sales environment with a specific focus on MS Power BI. This role can be based anywhere in the UK with a mixture of remote work and client visits.


  • To take on responsibility for pre-sales in new business opportunities and significant existing business opportunities

  • To attend vendor, marketing and industry events as a technical expert

  • To work with clients at all levels to shape priorities and determine resultant requirements for an end-to-end solution

  • To document business and systems requirements to the required level of detail and in an appropriate format

  • To provide an escalation function, assisting support and delivery departments in resolving complex customer enquiries

  • To provide clear and documented handover of architected solutions or consultancy outputs into delivery teams


  • Proven knowledge of solution architecture with commercial experience in an IT environment.

  • Hands on experience with PowerBI

    • Desirable – Qlik / Alteryx.

  • Experience or desire to learn skills such as Qlik, Alteryx, Power BI, Azure, AWS.

  • Proven knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence. 

  • Experience of leading technical workshops to understand client requirements and shaping them into system requirements.

  • A good level of IT and business knowledge and an ability to express this knowledge in terms appropriate to the audience which includes client senior executives, IT managers and end-users.

  • Ability to understand rapidly the requirements of clients and to assist in shaping these into system requirements.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, supporting income generation and securing repeat business.

  • Ability to think clearly, and to write clear documentation which is sufficiently detailed, unambiguous and complete.

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Additional Information:

  • This role will involve client site visits around the UK – Usually over one day although occasional overnight stay may be required where necessary.

  • Remote role although must be based in the UK.

  • Professional training and certifications are achievable through company training scheme.
