Our client are a leading global provider of embedded business finance. They work in a sophisticated, largely autonomous fashion to assist their growing list of world spanning clients. With offices throughout the UK they are looking to recruit a senior support development engineer. The Role will be fully remote with occasional travel to London, the role includes the benefits of the expansive list of company perks too.

 

 Role Responsibilities:

  • Work on the development service desk resolving errors, outages/ incidents within SLA’s.

  • Take charge of BAU activities across the estate.

  • Maintain cross-platform middle layer and library components to promote seamless interaction with partners.

  • Maintain web based front end interfaces for internal & external customers.

  • Collaborate with your team/stakeholders to solve business problems.

  • Focus on quality of software while delivering to customers.

  • Monitor applications and services; complete logging, back-ups and ensure reliability.

  • Ensure seamless customer experience by promotion of supported, secure and robust platforms.

 

You will need:

  • Working experience with web development using Typescript/ JavaScript frameworks.

  • Proven track record developing SOAP and/or REST interfaces.

  • Skills to demonstrate optimisation, profiling, testing and refactoring in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.

 

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with React, Node.js, C# and Azure.

  • Experience in AGILE development framework.

  • Understanding of messaging technologies like RabbitMQ

  • Dependable knowledge of document databases like MongoDB

  • History of using Azure DevOps and Azure pipelines
