Our client are a leading global provider of embedded business finance. They work in a sophisticated, largely autonomous fashion to assist their growing list of world spanning clients. With offices throughout the UK they are looking to recruit an experienced Head Of IT. The Role will be fully remote with occasional travel to London and an expansive list of company benefits.

 

 

  • We are looking for a hands-on Head of IT that together with their team shapes IT strategy for the business

  • Taking an empathetic approach to discovering our users requirements and resolving them effectively

  • Using creativity to solve end-to-end business problems regardless of complexity

  • Gathering technical requirements from users in order to build/source appropriate solutions

  • Co-ordinate and bring a centrally managed approach to our 3rd party tools and services

  • You’ll work alongside Infosec, Engineers, Architects and QA to ensure that our every person in Liberis has the right tools for their role You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the IT services and corporate infrastructure remains compliant with the demands and standards set by our Infosec team

  • You’ll be an integral part of the team which determines which tools to use, how to implement them and how the outputs of those tools should be consumed

  • You’ll ensure that devices and services are monitored, backup-up and reliable at all times

  • You’ll work closely with 3rd party service providers to ensure our corporate infrastructure is managed to service levels and budget

 

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience of managing all aspects of office based IT (Telephony, networks, mobile, devices) including their hardware and software updates.

  • A Proactive leader, engaging across the business to discover information flows and manage that data effectively

  • Experience in managing user and infrastructure services through Azure and O365

  • Experience of managing multiple 3rd party providers to SLAs

  • Experience of managing budgets for 3rd party providers and services across the business

  • Experience of managing a team of Help Desk Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers to the high standards expected of the business

  • The ability to research, design, and deliver appropriate technology solutions to support the strategic goals of the organisation in both current and new markets

  • Experience in creating IT strategies to support the business throughout its growth, including strategy justification, board approval and roll-out of improvement programmes

  • Experience working in an IT leadership role, preferably within a high growth/fast moving/ambitious technology driven environment

 

Salary: Upto £90,000 plus 25% Bonus and fantastic benefits
