NRG are delighted to be working closely with a well-established client looking for an experienced Senior Helpdesk Engineer to join their growing tech team in Newcastle city centre. This fantastic opportunity involves providing Tech solutions across the UK for several business and education establishments, supporting day to day technical issues and leading the junior members of the team. We are looking for an individual with a friendly and positive attitude, someone who can work individually but also as part of the team with the utmost integrity.

 

 

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

 

  • Resolving day to day technical queries

  • Identifying needs within the team to improve the day to day output

  • Assist clients with diagnosis of issues via telephone, email, or remote access

  • Effectively managing support tickets based on client SLAs

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Take ownership of client problems

  • Update client documentation

 

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop / Server Support)

  • Administration of Virtualisation environments (VMware / Hyper-V)

  • Cloud Identity Providers (Knowledge of Azure)

  • Active Directory and Endpoint Manager (Intune)

  • Microsoft 365 Administration

 

 

 

 

Salary: Up to £34,000

 

Hours: 09:00 – 5:30 pm (Opportunities for WFH)
