QA Engineer

Our client are a leading global provider of embedded business finance in a sophisticated, largely autonomous fashion to assist their growing list of world spanning clients.  With offices throughout the UK they are looking to recruit an experienced QA Engineer. The Role will be fully remote with occasional travel to London and an expansive list of company benefits.

 

You will have the following experience:

 

  • Overseeing continuous improvement projects

  • Testing current products/services/APIs and identifying deficiencies

  • Defining, building and executing automated test scripts

  • Providing recommendations for continuous improvement of the process

  • Supporting DevOps in their deployments of applications/services on their route to production

  • Ensuring that the products/services we offer maintain a performance baseline

 

About you

 

We are serious about Scrum, as well as continuous deployment and integration. Insights gained for real customer experiences help us continuously improve their online experience and optimise our partner integrations. You will be used to implementing a strategy for quality coordination/testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. You’ll be comfortable investigating product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction. You’ll also be used to identifying key KPIs for product quality and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management.

 

 

  • A strong track record with manual and automated testing (supplemented by a good understanding of a range of test techniques) for both functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Demonstrable experience from using a variety of test tools.

  • The ability to implement testing frameworks across a wide range of cloud products.

  • A good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD and test automation in a pipeline.

  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach and used to dealing with business stakeholders at every level.

  • Experience working within an agile environment

 

It would advantageous if you have:

 

  • Experience with TypeScript, AngularJS/React, Node.js, C#, Azure or AWS

  • Experience of Selenium, Cyprus, Postman

  • Knowledge and experience of API testing

 

Salary: Upto £45,000
