Our client are a leading global provider of embedded business finance in a sophisticated, largely autonomous fashion to assist their growing list of world spanning clients.  With offices throughout the UK they are looking to recruit an experienced QA Lead capable of moulding a strong, Agile team to develop under themThe Role will be fully remote with occasional travel to London and an expansive list of company benefits.

 

 

You will have the following experience:

 

  • Designing and implementing a suite of Test Automation across our products and services

  • Building a team to implement the Test strategy and its implementation into our pipeline

  • Planning, setting strategic directions and management of all the testing projects

  • Providing recommendations for continuous improvement of the process

  • Delivering overall governance for the applications/services and their route to production

  • Providing a range of metrics

  • Spearhead a QA-focused initiative towards increased automation in an Agile environment and supporting a regular release cycle. 

 

About you

We’re rapidly expanding our technical teams and this role offers the opportunity to shape how our quality function should operate, the tools we should use and how we can ensure our services are operating at the highest standards. You’ll have experience working with talented teams across the fast-moving business, including development and product teams to help set quality of the non-functional requirements. Taking ownership of the design and implementation of a test strategy and automation across development projects. You’ll be used to acting as a crucial point of contact, championing quality and driving best practice wherever possible including building a supportive and high performing team.

 

 

We think you’ll need:

 

  • A strong track record with manual and automated testing (supplemented by a good understanding of a range of test techniques)

  • Demonstrable test automation experience and be able to bring experience from a variety of tools.

  • The ability to design and implement testing best-practice strategy and frameworks from scratch.

  • Experience in Agile teams and have a good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD and test automation in a pipeline.

  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach and used to dealing with business stakeholders at every level.

 

It would advantageous if you have:

 

  • Experience with TypeScript, AngularJS/React, Node.js, C#, Azure or AWS

  • Experience of Selenium, Cyprus, Postman

  • Knowledge and experience of API testing

 

Additionally, it would be preferrable to have the following experience:

 

  • Experience of working in regulated markets 

  • Experience in supporting cloud-based systems using Microsoft Azure

 

 

 

 

 

Salary: Upto £50,000
