Purpose of the role

NRG are recruiting a number of sales executives for one of the fastest growing Waste Management companies in the UK. The roles are due to growth of the inbound sales team and will be converting leads into sales within a specified timescale, ensuring the customer receives a quality experience covering the full range of waste management services.



  • Field and convert incoming lead enquiries from pay per lead potential customers to opportunity and sales via telephone and email with all relevant information with a view to selling the full range of waste management services.

  • Arrange follow up calls to the customer within a specified timescale

  • Assess, identify and analyse customer specific needs, requirements and timescales

  • Maintaining all lead information accurately and timely within the Salesforce CRM system as per company guidelines

  • Manage sales through the sales process

  • Consistently meet personal and departmental sales goals set by the Sales Director

  • Understand and explain to the customer the complete customer journey cycle and ensure the customer is fully aware of the next steps

  • Develop a strong knowledge of supplier’s products in order to facilitate the sales process

Required Experience

  • B2B or B2c telephone sales experience, preferably in energy or telecoms and has the ability to develop a good understand of customer requirements

  • 2- 5 years proven experience

  • Proficient in managing sales pipeline through the use of CRM systems

  • Ability to work collaboratively in sales and sales support teams

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Experience of working in fast paced sales environment
