NRG are delighted to be working with an outstanding industry leader. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced IT Project Manager on a 6 month contract outside IR35.


You will be responsible for the following:


  • Ensure all allocated projects follow PMO guidance, are delivered on-time, within scope to high quality and within budget.

  • Follow recognised project management methodologies as most suitable for the type and duration of the specific project.

  • Develop and maintain project artefacts, as specified by the PMO, for each project.

  • Create, manage and maintain project plans, financials (including appropriate authorisations) and reporting of progress to PMO and senior business leaders.

  • Ensure all governance arrangements are in place for managing the project, including time, cost and quality and all associated change control compliance, to meet PMO specifications.

  • Coordinate internal resources, third parties and vendors.

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for the duration of the projects.

  • Produce accurate and relevant reporting to PMO and stakeholders.

  • Communicate frequently with internal customers at all levels.

  • Build exceptional relationships across the business


You will have :

  • Experience in delivering projects with evidence of delivery in complex environments

  • Significant experience in delivering technical IT projects.

  • Full life-cycle delivery for IT projects.

  • Experience delivering enterprise integration technologies.

  • Experience of delivering new technology solutions into service for the first time

  • Proficient using Microsoft Project, video conferencing and mainstream collaboration tools

  • Experience of delivering objectives using project management methodologies, including PRINCE, Waterfall and Agile approaches

  • Able to travel as required (UK wide)

  • Qualified PRINCE2 practitioner

  • Desirable to have either APM or PMI qualification (any level)

  • Experience of working within and reporting to a PMO
