Purpose of the role
Based in the UK and reporting to the communications director the business development lead will be responsible for researching emerging opportunities, threats and trends - providing insightful and analytical commentary across sectors to the leadership team.
Assist with market research and analysis including information gathering on forthcoming capital investment and competitor analysis.
Translation and market sensitisation of collateral where required.
Develop relationships with local press and the business community.
Coordinate and facilitate relationship building activities with existing and target clients across sectors.
Track new opportunities, identifying new markets and emerging trends to provide business intelligence to leadership.
Propose and support the development of new strategic partnerships.
Assist in the collection and management of project collateral to support the project teams.
Skills and Experience:

Able to meet multiple project deadlines, prioritise work and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Skilled in MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Experience of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign essential.
Flexible in task management and planning skills.
Web maintenance experience, with a good working knowledge of social media marketing tools, Google rankings and search engine optimisation is desirable.
Demonstratable knowledge of marketing principles.
Team player, extremely well organised with an ability to work at operational levels both individually and as part of a team.
Travel to all offices as required
