Role Purpose:


This role plays an important part within the Marketing Department to deliver the business’s aspirations to further grow its position as market leader in the UK. The role gets a wide exposure to a variety of marketing channels including TV, inserts, affiliates and SEO.


Main Responsibilities:


  • To work with the support of the Marketing Manager to devise and implement the acquisition marketing strategies to deliver business objectives. Evaluate channels, processes and return on investment

  • Explore and develop performance-based marketing channels both off and online including TV – media and creative, inserts and SEO.

  • Manage agencies and other suppliers to ensure the budget is used efficiently and effectively

  • Work with the Product team to support promotions on site across media advertising channels

  • Develop, manage and implement the advertising and tactical schedules

  • Develop and implement the SEO campaign including managing the agency and internal team to implement technical site updates, exploit PR opportunities.

  • This role sits within the advertising team that manages a large proportion of the budget to drive acquisition of new players.


Knowledge and Experience:


  • Preferably a degree or CIM qualification, with a marketing background

  • Experience in website marketing or related industry would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Able to comfortably use excel and analyse data


Personal Qualities:


  • The ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously, and show good problem-solving ability with attention to detail

  • An analytical thinker. Reporting, digesting and providing recommendations for enhancement to the communication schedules and channels to market will be an important aspect of this role

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both within a team environment, and independently

  • A confident personality with outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines and manage similar budgets
