What will I be doing?

You will work within our busy Fraud team. Protecting our business and customers from fraud is crucial, and as part of our Fraud team you will play an instrumental part in educating and supporting our customers, often at a time when they are worried.


You will work with customers over the telephone, both taking inbound and making some outbound calls to provide essential customer service support and deal with a wide range of fraud queries.


What kind of person are we looking for?


In short, we’re looking for a real people person. Naturally you’ll be a great communicator and listener, someone that can identify and investigate a problem through to finding solutions and be confident in making decisions. You’ll also be someone that’s passionate about delivering a great customer service and helping NewDay achieve their aims of helping people be better with credit.


You’ll have experience of working in a customer contact centre – ideally within financial services or other highly regulated customer contact environment .


What are the benefits?


You’ll receive a starting salary of £19,500. You’ll have the opportunity to increase your salary at 6 and then 12 months through our development programme, ASPIRE. On top of this, there’s a discretionary annual bonus scheme. There is free onsite parking too, for when you choose to work in the contact centre.


You’ll work fixed shifts, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days between the hours of 09:00 – 19.00 including some weekend working.


Because of the nature of what we do, you’ll also need to pass a credit, criminal record, and fraud database check.
