Brand Marketing Manager

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation in the role Brand Marketing Manager. Working alongside the existing team you will conceive and propose marketing strategies and concepts for the brand. You will guide the process from planning to execution, working in conjunction with the marketing team and third-party resources to deliver on their remit. This will include delivering all seasonal campaigns, from asset creation to seasonal messaging and campaign planning.

 

The remit will include both trade and consumer content and be across all platforms. In addition, they will work with brand ambassadors to ensure they deliver timely feedback and content in line with their contracts.

The requirements:

 

The candidate will be extremely organised, be deadline focussed and have a keen eye for detail.

Essential:

  • Degree in marketing or related field – will consider candidates with significant vocational experience who can succinctly demonstrate a successful track record.

  • Five or more years marketing experience

  • Must be digitally savvy, with an understanding of paid search, keywords, and content marketing.

  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be confident in and have experience in presenting to internal and external partners throughout the year to ensure team support and provide accountability.

  • Proven experience of providing distributors with the necessary assets to assist their advertising and PR objectives and maintain a consistent, strong, brand image in all markets worldwide.

  • Experience of managing budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.

  • Experience and evidence of managing product and action photo shoots for catalogues, marketing materials and digital channels.

  • Experience and evidence in working with digital teams to produce regular content updates, annual product updates and creative.

  • Experience and evidence of developing and managing consumer activations, including events and promotional programs.

  • Experience of managing public relations, including ensuring product sampling and seeding programs are timely and product is ordered and available for PR team.

  • Willingness to travel.

 

Desirable:

  • Multimedia imaging, video editing, presentation graphics and production skills a plus.

  • Ability to coordinate and manage internal and external resources while maintaining a team atmosphere.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.

  • Passion for and a good knowledge of bike categories and trends.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A creative approach grounded in practicality.

  • Knowledge of action sports helpful

  • Strong social media skills.
