We are pleased to be supporting a fast-growing digital printing solution business with the recruitment of a Head of Product to join their team in Newcastle.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial thinker, and highly creative professional, to be responsible for leading our client growing Product department.
Working closely with the Marketing & Product Director to develop progressive, and dynamic product roadmap, leading all aspects of new product development, from the initial business case, through to defining the scope for engineering and UX, customer onboarding, financial investment, commercial opportunity, and go-to-market launches.
Working closely with the senior Marketing team, you will develop and manage creative marketing campaigns to launch new products, attract new customers, and help realise the business sales targets.
Reviewing new and existing outsource partner relationships with the Commercial team.
Collaboration with Production to identify improvements and enhancements to existing products and services, understanding wide use cases and customer adoption.
You will take full ownership of the Product Marketing strategy, creating meaningful go-to-market strategies and launching plans for website and eCommerce improvements.
Leading a defined product portfolio, with regular monitoring and reporting of product sales behaviour and KPIs; Use results from analysis to understand customer use and buyer personas, in turn, identify untapped opportunities.
Leading research into competitor offerings and comparable products; Working closely with Production, Development and UX to ensure the best customer journey and maximising conversions.
Manage workload and delegate tasks, setting goals and KPI’s and monitoring performance; accordingly, support professional development and career progression for direct reports.
Ability to travel across the UK to attend exhibitions, meet customers and suppliers - Essential.
Demonstrable product management/ leading successful product launches experience – Essential.
Experience in line managing direct reports, ideally in a services function - Essential.
Experience of tools including Google Analytics, Double Click, Tableau – Essential.
