Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their company. You will be working as part of a factory-based team and have the responsibility for the quality of electrical installations ensuring compliance is met and inline with relevant regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the supervision of employees installing the electrical 1st and 2nd fix to meet production targets
Quality audits of the electrical installation throughout the process in the factory
Identify defects in the electrical installation and manage any subsequent remedial work prior to the product leaving the factory
Carry out the inspection and testing and esnure results are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
Ensuring that the equipment, documentation and records are available for inspection when required by NICEIC.
Ensure electrical installations meet the design requirements and expectations
Proactively identify areas of possible process, design and product improvement
Comply with the processes stipulated under the company’s Quality Assurance Processes.
Ensure that the installations are delivered in accordance with processes
To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Knowledge of Building Regulations, including Part P.
Previous experience of electrical installation
Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Up to date relevant knowledge of Building Legislation
Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
Ability to manage a successful team
Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification or Level 3 Diploma in a relevant electrical discipline
Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition
Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations an advantage
English and Maths pass at GCSE / ‘O’ Level
Current ECS/CSCS card an advantage
