A thriving business in the financial technology sector is on the look-out for an ambitious part-qualified candidate to join their Group in anticipation of a booming 2021 following record sales this year.
You will operate in the “reporting” segment of the finance function and – in time - be given responsibility for the accounts of several arms of the Group (largest of which turned over £90 million last year). Their cutting-edge financial technology products sold to businesses globally have been the driving force behind their success.
Fully study support will be offered in ACCA or CIMA (choice of distance or classroom learning). You will also be given several days of extra paid ‘study leave’ around exams, on top of your annual holiday allowance.

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Revenue recognition
Debtors reconciliation
Prepayments calculations
Accruals
Creditors reconciliation
Payroll journals
Bank Reconciliations
Impairment testing
Profit & loss variance analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations
Cashflow forecasting
Regulatory reporting
Application of technical accountancy knowledge to financial statements
Analysis and understanding of movements in monthly management accounts
Ad-hoc requests and projects
Requirements
Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (ideally completed several exams already)
Ambition to complete studies and grow in your career
