Garment Technologist

Our client is looking for a Garment Technologist to join them at their site in Darlington on a permanent basis.

Job Role

• Working alongside the existing team you will be involved in sampling and approval of garments

• You will contribute to the sealing procedure in ensuring it is adhered to and that the supply-chain base is fully supported

• You will also work alongside our Design and Development Team to facilitate the smooth running of the department

• Ensuring on time delivery of product during the development and production critical path

• Utilising Fabric production knowledge in both woven and knitted construction

Skills/Experience

• Construction knowledge, with experience, ideally in technical / outdoor / sportswear

• Experience in woven and knitted fabric construction and manufacture including waterproof membranes

• Experience working with an overseas supply chain base

• Good organisation, planning and time management skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines

• Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat skills preferred

• Excellent computer skills
