Our national engineering and renewables client based in Blyth are looking for a Resource Coordinator / Project Scheduler to join them on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Job Role
The role will help ensure that the best use is made of all business resources and that they are deployed in the most effective and efficient manner
Support the project office coordinator to ensure projects and other operational activities have robust and up to date plans in place
Supporting department heads to ensure they have accurate plans with the required level of detail to assign tasks to team members
Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects
Update project schedules, comparing work completed against the baseline
Skills/Experience
Experience of scheduling or planning in an engineering environment
Operational scheduling and prioritisation at project level experience
Experienced user of MS Office suite, particularly Excel
Resource scheduling/coordinator experience is desired
Experience using MS Project/Primavera P6 would be advantageous
