NRG are delighted to be working with an outstanding industry leader. We are supporting them on the recruitment of an Application Support Lead to join a brand-new team in Newcastle.
As an application support lead, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of a team who provide dedicated support, maintenance and configuration for a range of vendor and internally developed financial applications across Finance, HR and Payroll.
You will be joining at an exciting time and you will have direct involvement in the recruitment and growth of the team, contributing to the development of new working practises and helping to form a new team ethos.
This role will initially be offered on a 2-year fixed term with the potential to be made permanent.
The post holder will also have the opportunity to work remotely.
Experience in leading technical support teams and ensuring they experience appropriate development and mentoring
Proven track record and experience of supporting high availability solutions in business-critical environments.
End to end application functionality knowledge; be able to demonstrate clear understanding of patterns of business activity, user journeys and application capabilities.
Proactive with bringing new ideas forward and looking to further improve the business application estate
