IT Engagement Manager
NRG are delighted to be working with an outstanding industry leader. We are supporting them on the recruitment of an IT Engagement Manager to join their site in Newcastle.
The purpose of this role is to identify business requirements and translate them into technology solutions and further develop an IT roadmap. Responsible for a diverse team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, focusing on customer engagement and continuous improvement within the business.
Establishing and executing an IT Business strategy to give direction to a team of IT Product Owners and Business Analysts
Manage Product Owners, and Business Analysts - monitor staff performance and support staff development
Work with senior stakeholders to build long term strategic relationships within the business to understand the business model and be able to interpret the organisational strategies to consider where Technology can add value
Utilise continuous improvement to get the best out of their IT investments on an on-going basis
Work with the IT delivery teams to create a roadmap of change, ensuring it is well thought through and resourced adequately
Strong relationship management experience.
Ability to communicate effectively - verbal, face-to-face, visual, written and workshops/presentations.
Used and understands various methodologies - e.g. Agile, ITIL, Prince2 and SDLC.
Experience of strategic planning – budgeting, pipeline/capacity management.
Practical knowledge of project management and business analysis.
