NRG are delighted to be working with an outstanding industry leader. We are supporting them on the recruitment of a Programme Change Manager to join their site in Newcastle.

Engaging heavily with the newly founded Planning and Governance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for oversee all change planning. Our client has a hugely ambitious change agenda over the coming years and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we get the best adoption of these changes across the organisation.

 

Job Description:

  • Own the overall change plan and understand what change is landing, when and who it affects.

  • Work with the programme delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure we understand what is needed for change to land properly, and adoption is secured

  • Work with the programme delivery teams to implement a change control framework to effectively manage how change is governed through the programme lifecycle

  • Collaborate with our business leaders and subject matter experts to define a change management plan for transformational changes to ensure they are well delivered into the business

  • Advise, coach and mentor delivery / programme managers on change management techniques

  • Work with the programme management team to identify change risks and prepare suitable mitigations before programmes are delivered

  • Planning, sequencing and accurately understanding the order of changes, the business ability to receive change and advise on the best phasing

 

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in project management and change management.

  • Target Operating Model, Process / Business change approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma and extensive stakeholder engagement models.

  • Managing and leading workstreams on large-scale and complex operations change programmes.

  • Negotiating with all parts of an organisation in order to secure resource and/or budget, meet deadlines, attain approvals, embed process and manage conflicts.
