Our established client, a world leader in its field have an exciting opportunity for a Head of HR to join them.
We are seeking a Head of HR with excellent people skills to manage and direct the HR function across 2 locations ensuring all HR processes are carried out smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for developing HR strategy, company policy and providing sound advice to senior management on employment law mattes and all related HR subjects.
As Head of HR you will develop and implement HR practices, managing and supporting the company resource planning and talent development activities in line with the company’s strategic goals and direction. You will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary proceedings and training and development programs.
The overall management and development of all aspects of HR including Recruitment, Learning and Development, Occupational Health, Pay and Benefits, Employee relations, Implementation of employment regulations into company policies and procedures and Site Security Management.
As Head of HR you must have:
A proven track record as an HR generalist delivering and leading key HR processes/ projects
CIPD qualified or equivalent to level 5 (minimum) with 5 years occupational experience
Up to date knowledge of employment law, particularly collective labour law
Experience in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance
Experience of succession planning and workforce development
Experience of operating in a multi-site, multi-union organisation
Experience of dealing with National Union/Sector Agreements and associated terms & conditions of employment
