NRG is working with a reputable client in Newcastle who is looking for a passionate and solution-oriented Senior Account Manager to be responsible for multiple client accounts across both the health and commercial sectors. This is an exciting role in a fast-growing business which aims to offer innovative digital solutions to support behavioural change at scale.

Main purpose of the role:

You will drive the​ retention and growth of the primary business relationships for a top tier client account. This will include connecting with key business executives and networking with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the business strategy and business offerings

  • Develop and implement operational plans to grow accounts

  • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight

  • Identifying new business opportunities from both existing accounts and new revenue streams

  • Prepare implementation plans and lead client on-boarding

  • Delivery of performance related KPIs

  • Work closely with clients to identify needs and advise on potential solutions based on the business portfolio

  • Prepare and deliver effective client presentations, including stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

  • Identify business, technical and customer needs to drive business using account management principles

  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the company solutions according to customer needs and objectives

  • Ability to lead across the business sales, marketing and technical support teams to deliver sales results


  • Passion for managing complex customers and situations

  • 2+ years’ experience in Customer Success and/or Account Management in a senior role

  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business

  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables

  • Project and program management experience; knowledge of key concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope and tasks
