NRG HR are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for an HR Manager to join a well-established Manufacturing business.
Reporting into the HR Director you will manage the operations of the Group HR functions and duties, significantly contributing to the accomplishment of the Group HR practices and objectives.
This role has the potential to be dual sited across two of their offices so travel will be required.
Focusing on engendering a high-performance culture
Leading the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business
Line management of People division including training, career development and appraisals
Using experience, skills and knowledge of the HR industry to make an impact in key areas such as change management, organizational design, employee engagement and talent management
Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement
Measuring and analysing employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement
Managing talent and succession planning, taking over all responsibility for talent acquisition including, sourcing, interviewing, hiring and on boarding
Ensuring job descriptions are up to date, accurate and relevant to assist the performance management programme, ensuring all employees are familiar with their job responsibilities
Implementation of services, policies and programs throughout the Group, including SEMTA accreditation
Frequently reviewing with the Health and Safety Manager the employee health and safety, welfare and wellness policies
Working closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention to support current and future business needs
Coaching managers on performance management issues and providing development guidance for their teams
Actively manage with the support of the HR team all ER issues
Presenting a monthly report along with the HR Director to the CEO on HR KPPs, activities and priorities
Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate external parties, namely the company employment law advisors and relevant recruitment agencies
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy HR team in a generalist role. The right person will ideally come from a Manufacturing background and have their CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
